This match was a little nerve racking to watch but we knew David would win and he did! BRONZE MEDAL baby!!
Now let me just say that we have become somewhat famous here at the Beijing Tennis center (Kc you would love it:-) Being a fan of US magazines and such and now can say I kind of know what those actors go through with the paparazii.. well just a little bit at least!
The Gold medal match was in center court against the Israeli's. We were out numbered but we yelled louder! The boys played great, I think it was the best match of tennis I have seen in a long time. I wish you all could have seen it! They killed it in the first set 6-0, gave us a nail biter losing the second set 4-6 but redeeming in the third 6-2...for the GOLD MEDAL BABYYYY!!!
Tomorrow we head back to the Tennis center one last time to watch David get his Bronze medal.. then we hope to hit the night markets for some yumminess on a stick! Stay tuned to see what Shane eats!

Congratulations to David once again for his Olympic medals. I'm sure the great support of his entourage contributed to his wins.
Can't wait to hear about Shane's adventures with food--or rather, adventures with organic substances he's will to consume and digest. - Janet
Way to go David! What great photos and memories you'll have!
I love the makeup too. Who was the artist? It's going to be hard to come home and just be regular people again after your taste of "celebrity"!
A word of advice for the night market - if you select the skewered scorpians, be sure they're completely cooked!
Congrats to David! Tremendous tennis. Inspiring. It makes me not want to become a couch potato.
Fabulous fan support. That painted face...
Together, your bunch has probably improved Sino-American relations more than any statesman has done recently!
I await more wonderous tales when you come home. Some good pics!
